On Tuesday, March 24th, Governor Kevin Stitt issued a "stay at home" order requiring all "vulnerable populations" to stay at home until April 30th, except for essential travel such as trips to the grocery store or pharmacy. Specific details of who is included in the vulnerable population were not immediately provided, but that category generally includes those who are elderly and those who have underlying health problems (heart, respiratory, etc...). The governor also issued an executive order restricting any gathering of 10 or more people all across our great state. In an effort to preserve medical supplies (PPE), Governor Stitt then ordered a 14-day suspension of all nonemergency dental procedures, among other medical restrictions.
As we have previously stated, our main goal at Timothy Rothwell DDS has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team, and our community. In light of this new information handed down from our governor regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we're closing our office for all ELECTIVE dental treatment until April 8th. We will contact you again if this date potentially changes. Here are some more details you should know:
-If you have a dental emergency, please contact Dr Rothwell at (405) 620-7624 and we'll take care of you. This includes if you're in pain, have a broken tooth, or think you may have an abscess
-We will be reaching out to each of you individually to reschedule any appointments you may have between now and April 8th
-If you have an Invisalign appointment scheduled during this time, please call Dr Rothwell to potentially arrange a way to get your next set of trays in order to not create any disruptions in your progress; otherwise, simply continue to wear your last set of trays until we can accomodate you
We continue to wish you all good health. Please know that we will get through this together!
Be safe,
The team at Timothy Rothwell DDS
