Time for a quick routine check! What kind of toothbrush are you using? 🤔
If you're using a toothbrush with "medium" or "hard" bristles, it might be time to toss it out!
It is a common myth that harder bristles clean your teeth better. In reality, aggressive brushing with hard bristles acts like sandpaper on your teeth. Over time, it can actually scrub away your protective enamel and cause your gums to recede, leading to intense sensitivity.
Our golden rule: Always opt for a soft-bristled brush. When combined with the proper, gentle, circular brushing technique, soft bristles are perfectly capable of sweeping away plaque without causing trauma to your gums or enamel.
🪥When was the last time you swapped out your toothbrush (Hint: You should aim for every 3 to 4 months!)?
