✨ This past weekend, MDHA came together for our Annual House of Delegates! ✨
Some of us gathered in person and others joined virtually, but we were united in one mission: to collaborate, advocate, and continue advancing the profession we love.

These conversations and decisions are bigger than any one of us. They are for:

We also thank all of our participants for joining our course today. It was a tremendously successful event where information was shared about pain management, ethics, jurisprudence and delegation of duties, as well as other important dental hygiene licensure topics. Michigan House Bill 4935 was introduced to the house floor on Thursday, September 11th, 2025. This bill brings the DDH compact legislation into consideration for the State of Michigan. This bill has been referred to the House Policy Committee for initial conversations.

There are currently 12 states who have passed this legislation and another 5 states with pending legislation. To learn more about the DDH compact visit: https://ddhcompact.org/

🌟⛳️ What an amazing day on the course! ⛳️🌟

This past Sunday, August 17th, MDHA held our 4th Annual Golf Fundraiser at Wheatfield Valley Golf Course in Williamston, MI — and it was our BIGGEST turnout yet with over 40 golfers! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

💚 A very special and HUGE shout out goes to our Finance Council and our Finance Council Co-Chairs, Nancy Kyser and Valerie Nieto, for all of the incredible legwork that went into making this event a success. Your hard work truly made the day possible. 👏👏
