🦷💙 Celebrating Dental Hygiene Month at Odon Family Dentistry! 💙🦷

This month, we’re excited to spotlight our amazing hygienist, Kelsey! ✨

Kelsey has been part of the dental hygiene world for over 3 years, helping our patients keep their smiles healthy and bright! 😁 A typical day for Kelsey includes taking X-rays, performing cleanings, and administering anesthetic to help keep our patients comfortable during their dental care.

🩵 A few fun facts about Kelsey!

🦷 She was born and raised right here in the Odon area!

😂 Her favorite part of working at OFD is having coworkers who keep things fun and entertaining. We love a team that can make work enjoyable!

🤚 Fun fact: Kelsey is left-handed!

🏀 When she’s not at the office, you can find her spending time with friends and family, attending country concerts, or cheering on IU basketball!

💕 Kelsey is married, has one beautiful daughter, and is a proud dog mom to her pup, Buddy! 🐶

We are so thankful to have Kelsey as part of our OFD family! Help us celebrate her this Dental Hygiene Month and show her some love in the comments! 💙🪥

🦷✨ It’s Dental Hygiene Month! ✨🦷

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on our amazing hygienists at Odon Family Dentistry and giving you a chance to get to know the wonderful ladies who take such great care of our patients! 💙

First up… meet Bre! 🥰

Bre is a wife, mom, and one of our incredible hygienists who has been part of the OFD family for over 10 years! 🎉

A typical day in Bre’s life includes caring for patients of all ages, from kiddos to adults, providing everything from preventive hygiene to nonsurgical periodontal scaling. She also now offers myofunctional therapy to our patients!

When asked what her favorite part about working at OFD is, Bre said it’s the team and the patients. She says there is always someone laughing in the office, and over the years, many of our patients have become like friends. ❤️

Here’s a fun fact about Bre: she is 1/8 Native American from the Blackfeet Tribe! Her red hair and fair skin might not be the first thing you’d expect, but it’s part of what makes her uniquely her! 😅❤️

When Bre isn’t spending time with us at the office, she loves being outdoors and going on little adventures with her daughter. 🥰 And if you know Bre, you know she LOVES concerts—especially when she gets to go with her sister! 🎶

We are so thankful to have Bre as part of our OFD family! Help us show her some love and tell Bre how much we appreciate all she does for our patients! 🦷💙

Happy Dental Hygiene Month, Bre! 🥰

Yesterday, a few of our team members had the opportunity to attend a wonderful event in Bloomington hosted by Bloomington Periodontics & Dental Implant Center! 🦷✨

We had such a great time enjoying the afternoon, connecting with others in the dental community, and making some great memories together. We even had a surprise appearance from Hoosier the Bison! 🦬❤️

Thank you to Bloomington Periodontics & Dental Implant Center for hosting such a fun event! We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Ever wondered what your tongue function looks like?

Yeah I didn’t think so lol. Most people don’t.

That’s where I come in! Normal feels different to everyone. So when we ask you “everything feel okay, are you sleeping okay, can you breathe normally” etc. it’s so easy to say “yep!” and move on. When in reality, your function could be compromised. The level of severity is varied in each person, and with the help of an OMT assessment and tailored exercises and therapy, we can get to you function better than what you would have considered “normal”.

Call the office today for a free consult! Just a few moments on the phone or in person and we can see where you land and decide if therapy is right for you.
