Can You Get Dental Implants With Severe Bone Loss?

When teeth have been missing for years, or dentures have been worn for a long time, the jawbone can gradually shrink.

That is why some patients are told they do not have enough bone for traditional implants.

Zygomatic implants offer another possible approach. Instead of depending only on the jaw, these longer implants anchor into the dense cheekbone, called the zygoma.
