For dental assistants who are new to the field, building confidence can be tough to do.

One way new dental assistants can build their confidence is earning certification. ✅

According to DANB’s 2026 Dental Assistants Salary and Satisfaction Survey Report, new dental assistants who are also CDAs have more confidence than dental assistants who aren’t certified.

Confidence can help dental assistants navigate their many duties and interact with patients on a daily basis. Plus, it can also impact job satisfaction, career growth opportunities, and salary.
