We would like to welcome Dr. Nicholas Dietz to our practice! Dr. Dietz will be joining our growing team at South O Smiles to help Dr. Vance when she goes out on maternity leave this summer!
Dr. Nicholas Dietz Bio:
Born and raised in Oregon, I spent most of my life growing up in Bend enjoying the great food and outdoors Central, Oregon has to offer. I enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cooking. I moved to San Diego in 2023 with my Fiancé who was stationed in San Diego as a Naval Dentist, eventually relocating to Camp Pendleton and Oceanside. On my free time I enjoy exploring the many great restaurants San Diego has to offer and running on the beach with my Fiancé, Ashley, and golden retriever, Bennett. I studied Human Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Oregon before attending the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) where I earned my Doctorate degree in Dentistry. During my time at OHSU I graduated with highest honors and was awarded several state and national awards including the Herbert B. Lafitte Award from the Oregon Society of Periodontists for outstanding achievements in the field of Periodontology as well as the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement Award from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. I am a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and San Diego County Dental Society. I pride myself on providing the highest standard of care with an emphasis on my patients values and expectations. I understand that every patient is unique and no one treatment fits all. I will strive to create the most comfortable and enjoyable experience to help you achieve optimal oral health and a smile you can be proud of.
