DHG Following the CDC’s Guidelines for Social Distancing
As we open up our practice for all dental services on May 18, we are aware there is a new normal.
We want all our patients to feel comfortable and safe coming back into the practice and as such, we will be following the CDC’s guidelines on social distancing measures. We feel extremely confident that the combination of our enhanced infection control procedures and these social distancing measures will ensure a safe environment for our patients and our staff.
Please review our new protocols and policies.
Personal face-coverings or masks are to be worn while in the building until seated for your appointment.
Only Patients should enter the building. If needed, ONE Essential Visitor ( a parent/medical aid/co-dependent decision maker) may accompany patient inside the waiting room.
Please check in with the front desk prior to your appointment.
You may wait in the reception/waiting area with a mask on while maintaining an appropriate distance from others.
Patient screening will include a health questionnaire and temperature reading.
Upon check-in, if you prefer to wait in your car, please notify the front desk. Please come back inside a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
**We endeavor to maintain our schedule and be available within 5 minutes of your appointment time for entry to the building and seating in the clinical area.
We need our patients to commit to their appointments and be on time.
Only Patients will be allowed back in the clinical treatment areas. We understand this will be an adjustment for some parents but is a necessity.
Guardians and family members will be asked to remain in their cars.
We also ask for the assistance of all our patients to monitor themselves for any signs of sicknesses including fever, respiratory problems, and shortness of breath. If this is the case, please notify us of your condition and we will reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends in the safest way possible.
