Temporary veneers are something patients often have questions about. Will they look natural? Will they stay in place? What happens if one breaks while the permanent veneers are being made?
These temporaries were made right here in our office as part of a full-mouth reconstruction for one of our patients. They’re designed to look good, feel comfortable, and give the patient a chance to live with their new smile while our lab works on the final restorations.
Temporaries are an important part of the process, and when they’re done well, they can give you a pretty exciting preview of what’s to come.

Sometimes, improving a smile is about much more than how it looks..
This patient came to us with a crossbite in the back, along with older bonding on her front teeth that was beginning to fail. She was also experiencing chronic headaches, which made evaluating her bite an important part of planning her treatment.
We used porcelain restorations on her upper teeth and select lower teeth to correct the crossbite, replace the failing restorations, and create a more balanced bite, all while giving her the natural, beautiful smile she was looking for.
It’s a great example of how thoughtful dental treatment can address both function and appearance at the same time.

Ever have a tooth that feels completely fine… until you bite down on something?
Pain or discomfort when chewing can happen for a number of reasons. It could be related to a small crack in the tooth, a filling or crown that needs attention, irritation around the tooth, or inflammation inside it. Sometimes, even a bite that’s slightly “off” can put extra pressure on one area.
The tricky part is that this kind of discomfort can come and go. You may not have a toothache at all, and you might only notice it when you chew a certain way or bite into something just right.
That doesn’t mean it should be ignored. If the same tooth keeps getting your attention when you eat, there’s usually a reason, and figuring out what’s causing it early can help keep a smaller issue from becoming a bigger one.
If a tooth keeps getting your attention when you chew, it’s worth paying attention to.

Meet Maricar, our newest dental assistant.
You'll probably see her taking your X-rays, helping with your Invisalign scans, assisting our doctors during treatment, and of course, helping keep everything running smoothly throughout the day.

When it comes to managing dental discomfort, sometimes the simplest options are already in your medicine cabinet.
In this quick tip, Dr. B shares two over-the-counter medications he commonly recommends for pain control after certain dental procedures.
One important reminder: it's always a good idea to take these medications with food, and make sure they're safe for you based on your medical history, allergies, and any other medications you may be taking.
Every patient is different, so if you're ever unsure about what you should be taking, don't hesitate to ask, we're always happy to help!

This patient, an elite Masters swimming champion, came to us after some of the white fillings on her front teeth had failed. She wasn’t looking for a completely different smile, just a natural, lasting improvement.

Porcelain veneers on her two upper front teeth and four lower front teeth allowed us to restore those areas while keeping the result balanced and natural-looking.

The goal was never to change her entire smile, it was to address the areas that needed attention while keeping the result natural and true to her.
