Some people spend their weekends relaxing… Dr. P chooses to run over a mountain. ⛰️🏃‍♂️

This past weekend, Dr. P completed the grueling Imogene Pass Run alongside a few of his closest friends from dental school. But this finish line represented far more than one race—it was the result of months of early mornings, sore muscles, sacrifice, sweat, and the decision to keep going when quitting would have been easier.

Our team knows Dr. P as the dentist who constantly challenges us to grow, strive for excellence, and become better than we were yesterday. It turns out he holds himself to that same standard long after the scrubs come off.

Dr. P, we are incredibly proud of you—not only for conquering Imogene Pass, but for reminding us that the greatest accomplishments are earned one difficult step at a time.

You’ve always taught us to trust the process…and apparently, the incline. 😉

🚨 If mouthwash kills germs… why can’t we just skip brushing and flossing? 🦷

Because mouthwash is the supporting actor—not the main character. 😂

Think of it this way: If your dishes are covered in food, would you just rinse them with water and call them clean? Probably not. You still have to scrub off what’s stuck on there.

Your teeth are no different.

🪥 Brushing physically removes plaque from the surfaces of your teeth.
🧵 Flossing gets the plaque hiding between them and along the gumline.
💦 Mouthwash can be a great addition—but it can’t replace the mechanical cleaning that brushing and flossing provide.

So yes, use the mouthwash. Just don’t let it convince you that you found a dental hygiene loophole. 😏

Floss. Brush. Rinse. Done.

🍦☀️ Sometimes you just have to block the schedule, step outside, and grab some ice cream!

Yesterday, our Roots Dental Studio crew traded the operatories for a little sunshine and a whole lot of fun at an Ice Cream Social hosted by our friends at Midland Oral Surgery and Implant Centers. 🦷🤝

In the middle of a busy clinical day, it was the perfect excuse to slow down, laugh together, enjoy the beautiful weather, and—most importantly—eat some ice cream. 😎🍨

We’re big believers that great teams aren’t built only while working… they’re built in moments like these, too.

A huge THANK YOU to the entire team at Midland Oral Surgery for inviting us and being such wonderful hosts! We’re grateful to work alongside some pretty amazing people in our dental community. ❤️
