Today was bittersweet as we celebrated our wonderful dental assistant Elizabeth’s retirement. 💙 Elizabeth has been an integral part of our team and a blessing to our patients. We will miss her so much! Please help us wish Elizabeth a happy, and well-deserved retirement full of family, fun, and all her favorite interesting hobbies! 🎉

Lemon water, vinegar, energy drinks, acid reflux… OH MY!! 🍋🥤🍷

Every day, someone is shocked when I can tell after a quick exam that they drink acidic beverages, have heartburn or reflux, or have habits that are wearing down their enamel.

Acid dissolves enamel and makes teeth thinner, yellower, flatter, chipped, or more sensitive — and once the enamel is gone, we can’t grow it back.

The good news? Early changes can often be managed with simple prevention: reducing acid exposure, using fluoride and other remineralization products, protecting teeth from grinding, and catching problems before they become major.

Officially finished my own Invisalign treatment so had to show off my smile! 😊 And VERY proud of this beautiful new Invisalign instruction sheet —that took me much longer than I’d like to admit—but finally happy with it and printed it yesterday! (It may be a little late for some who already started, but if you’d like a copy, stop by next week🙌)
