As we’ve done the past few years, our office will be closed the first week of July so our team can enjoy a little summer vacation, recharge, and come back refreshed — better than ever — ready to care for your smile! 💙

⚡️🦷 Ever bite down and feel a sharp “zing” in one tooth? It could be cracked tooth syndrome.

Cracked teeth can be sneaky. They do not always show up on X-rays, and the pain may come and go. Common signs include pain when chewing or releasing your bite, cold sensitivity, or feeling like one tooth just isn’t quite right.

Cracks can happen from clenching, grinding, chewing hard foods, trauma, or large older fillings that have weakened the tooth over time.

The good news? When caught early, many cracked teeth can be protected with treatment like a filling, crown, and/or sometimes root canal therapy. But cracks do not heal on their own, and waiting can allow the crack to spread.

If one tooth keeps giving you that sharp, unpredictable pain, don’t ignore it! Let us help before a small crack becomes a bigger problem.

Celebrating a bit of everything today!

🎂 Jordan’s birthday — most important of course! Glad we got to celebrate earlier this week, and hope you are having a fantastic day!!

🎒 My girls’ last day of 2nd and 5th grade — I’m so proud of them and can’t believe how fast these years are flying by.

🏡 3 years in our new office — its still surreal to be in a space that was once just a dream! We are so spoiled with our incredible forever home.

🦷 Dr. Caitlin and just I finished a 12-week advanced Invisalign program — we love learning new and better ways to give our patients the best care and beautiful smiles.

🏓 And tonight, wraps up my 5th year in the Elevated Dentistry Study Club with a fun pickleball outing.

Some days remind you just how much there is to be grateful for and it’s fun celebrating all the many milestones. 💙✨
