If you've visited our Nowata office, chances are you've seen Karena's friendly smile and positive energy!

As one of our Hygiene Assistants, Karena works hard every day to help our patients feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. She brings a fun, uplifting attitude to our office and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

When she's not caring for patients, you'll find her spending time with her family, volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club, or coaching softball. Her passion for helping others extends far beyond our office walls!

We're so thankful for everything Karena does for our patients, our team, and our community. 💜

Fourteen years ago, Dr. Soren Michaelsen opened the doors to Dental Arts with a vision rooted in exceptional patient care, integrity, and a commitment to helping people smile.

Alongside his wife, Natalie, who has played an instrumental role in leading and growing the organization, that vision has expanded from a single practice into six locations serving families across Oklahoma. Yet the heart of Dental Arts remains the same.

Over the past 14 years, Dr. Michaelsen and Natalie have helped thousands of patients regain confidence in their smiles, overcome dental fears, improve their health, and receive the care they deserve. Their leadership has also created opportunities for countless team members while building a culture rooted in compassion, excellence, and service.

The Dental Arts story is about more than dentistry. It's about relationships, trust, community involvement, and making a difference in people's lives every day.

As we celebrate 14 years of Dental Arts, we reflect with gratitude on the patients who have trusted us, the communities that have supported us, and the incredible team members who make our mission possible.

It's been a while since we've introduced one of the shining stars who helps make our office so special!

As the friendly face at our front desk, Patience keeps our office running smoothly and makes sure every patient feels welcomed from the moment they walk through our doors. She shows up every day with a smile on her face and is always willing to go the extra mile to help our patients have the best experience possible.

When she's not at Dental Arts, Patience loves spending time with her family, caring for her pets, and simply living her best life. We're so grateful for her positive attitude, dedication, and the kindness she brings to our team every day.
