Guided Tissue Regeneration Around Implants (Rebuilding Bone Around Implants)

Peri-implantitis (bone loss around implants) is a disease caused by bacteria that destroys the bone around implants. Traumatic occlusion also plays a role in bone loss around the implants. Guided tissue regeneration to rebuild the bone is the best treatment option.
The patient is a 72-year-old male who presented with advanced bone loss around implant # 19. Large bone loss is noted around the implant, with a 9 mm pocket depth around the implant.

The Guided Tissue Regeneration procedure was performed with great success. Bone regeneration was achieved around implant # 19. The pocket depth around the
implant is 2-3 mm.

🔹 Flapless Connective Tissue Graft (Minimally Invasive) 🔹

The Flapless Connective Tissue Graft procedure is a highly predictable procedure for treating gingival recession. It results in a stable, healthy band of attached tissue around the teeth.

Dr. Zakaria has invented, developed, and performed the Flapless Connective Tissue Graft (Minimally Invasive) for the last 19 years with great success and great results.

The patient is a 41-year-old female who presented with an advanced recession, thin tissue complex (tissue and bone), horizontal bone loss, and sensitivity (thermal & functional) on
teeth # 24, & 25, with some frenum pull.

A Flapless Connective Tissue Graft (Minimally Invasive) was performed. Note the creation of a new, wide, and thick healthy gingival tissue (gum tissue). Despite the existing recession, complete coverage on teeth # 24 and 25 is achieved. Note the creation of thick keratinized tissue, including seamless integration.

Treatment of Vertical Bone Loss on Teeth
🔹 Guided Tissue Regeneration Around Teeth (Rebuilding Bone Around Teeth) 🔹

Guided tissue regeneration is a relatively new treatment. The treatment resulted in saving and maintaining many teeth that were to be extracted. Periodontal disease is a bacterial infection that results in bone destruction and loss around the teeth and implants. Guided tissue regeneration is a game-changer that opened a new era in periodontal disease treatment and has saved teeth that were considered doomed and should be removed.

Guided Tissue Regeneration to rebuild the bone is the best treatment option.

A 71-year-old (currently) Female with advanced bone loss and a 9 mm pocket depth on the distal of tooth # 6 showing vertical bone loss. The patient had minimally invasive guided tissue regeneration. The procedure was successful, achieving complete bone regeneration and reducing the pocket depth to 3-4 mm around tooth # 6. The 9-year follow-up showed stable results with 3 mm PD and new stable bone formation

🔹Minimally Invasive Lingual Connective Tissue Graft 🔹

The Flapless Connective Tissue Graft procedure is a highly predictable procedure for treating gingival recession. It results in a stable, healthy band of attached tissue around the teeth.

The patient is a 53-year-old male, who presented with an advanced lingual recession & mucogingival defect, lingual frenum pull, and severe sensitivity (thermal & functional).

A minimally invasive Lingual Connective Tissue Graft was performed. Note the creation of new, wide, & thick healthy gingival tissue (gum tissue). Complete coverage and correction of the recession were achieved on the lingual of tooth # 22.
