tial visit process. Dr. Levitt is a doctor of dental medicine who attained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also completed his residency training in periodontics in 1977. Additionally, he served a hospital internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Levitt has been a full-time faculty member at the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He now teaches there part-time, training future periodontists as well as undergraduate dental students. Additionally, Dr. Levitt is a guest lecturer for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Levitt believes in preserving your natural dentition. He is experienced in treating advanced periodontal disease. He additionally is highly trained in occlusion (the discipline of treating bite problems). Dr. Levitt has been successfully placing dental implants for 30 years, always in a caring and gentle manner.
