What Happens at a Routine Dental Cleaning? 🦷✨

Ever wonder what happens during a routine dental visit? Here’s a quick look!

First, we’ll review your medical history and ask if you have any concerns or changes since your last visit.

Next, we may take X-rays to check for things we can’t see during a regular exam, like cavities between the teeth or changes below the gumline.

Then, your hygienist will gently remove plaque and tartar, polish your teeth, and floss to leave your smile feeling fresh and clean!

After that, the dentist will complete an exam to check your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health.

Before you leave, we’ll review any findings, answer your questions, and make a plan for keeping your smile healthy.

Routine visits are one of the best ways to prevent small dental problems from becoming bigger ones. We look forward to seeing you! 😁🦷
