🐶💦 When your dad is a dentist, you learn to take your oral hygiene seriously.

Apparently, Dr. Constantine's dog Finley has discovered the benefits of a water flosser! 😂

While we can’t promise that drinking from the hose counts as flossing, a real water flosser can be a great addition to your routine!

💧 Helps clean between teeth
🦷 Helps remove plaque and food debris
❤️ Helps keep your gums healthier
✨ Especially helpful around braces, bridges, implants, and other dental work

So take it from Finley: don’t forget to clean between those teeth! 😉🐾

And remember, even the best home-care routine doesn’t replace your regular dental checkups and cleanings!

Before the school year gets too busy, don’t forget to schedule your child’s dental checkup and cleaning. Starting the year with a healthy smile is one more thing you can check off your list! ✅

🦷 Regular checkups help keep little smiles healthy and ready to shine all school year long!

📅 Give us a call or schedule your child’s appointment today!

Wishing all of our patients a happy, healthy, and successful school year!

We are so proud to share that Dr. Constantine was recently inducted as the Treasurer of the Chicago Dental Society! 👏

This past weekend, Dr. Constantine and his fellow members of the Chicago Dental Society led in the planning efforts and proudly hosted the 161st annual Midwinter Meeting — one of the largest dental conferences in the country! Thousands of dentists, hygienists, and dental professionals gather each year to complete continuing education courses, connect with industry leaders, explore the latest dental technology, and collaborate with colleagues. The weekend wrapped up with a celebratory dinner and gala, where Dr. Constantine and his wife, Jan, celebrated alongside their peers for another successful convention.

We are honored to have a doctor so dedicated to leadership, lifelong learning, and advancing the dental profession. Congratulations, Dr. Constantine, on this incredible achievement! 🦷✨

Social media is often a great way to learn new tips, tricks and hacks that make your life easier. Online dental trends have begun to crop up on apps such as TikTok and Instagram, with many videos going viral and spreading like wildfire.

Methods like oil pulling, using charcoal toothpaste, chewing facial fitness gum and receiving treatment from veneer technicians have amassed millions of views, but are all of them safe? Or even effective?

ADA News spoke with several experts about the rising popularity of these current trends, where they fall on the spectrum of myth to fact, and how dentists can talk with patients about exercising caution when it comes to trying them out.
