Very grateful to be named a 2026 Cleveland Magazine Top Dentist. The recognition is based on nominations from other dentists in the Cleveland area, which makes it especially meaningful to me.

While my name is on the recognition, Thriving Smiles has never been a solo accomplishment. I'm surrounded every day by an incredible team that genuinely cares about our patients and families and takes pride in what we're building together.

They are the reason our patients have the experience they do, the reason our practice has grown, and the reason I'm able to do what I do. Any recognition I receive is a reflection of them, too.

Very proud to represent this team and very grateful to my dental peers for the nomination and trusting us with caring for their patients.

We have exciting news to share with our Thriving Smiles families!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sophia Mazanitis, who will be joining Thriving Smiles Pediatric Dentistry on August 19.

As our practice grows, it has been important to welcome a doctor who shares our belief that excellent pediatric dental care begins with trust. Dr. Sophia is passionate about creating positive, empowering dental experiences and helping every child feel safe and comfortable. She also has a special interest in caring for children with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Sophia earned her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her pediatric dental residency at the University at Buffalo/Oishei Children’s Hospital.

She and her family recently relocated to the Cleveland area, and we are so excited for our patients and community to get to know her.
