An Important Update from Me Regarding My Booking Policy and Safety Standards. Unfortunately, clients like this ruin it for everybody else.
To continue providing you with the highest level of care, I am updating my booking policies effective immediately.
As a Registered Nurse and the owner of Sassy Med Spa, medical compliance and your safety are my top priorities. Per California state law, I am required to ensure that every patient receives a formal medical clearance prior to undergoing the majority of my treatments. This clearance, along with the test spots I perform, is strictly for your safety. It ensures you are a safe candidate for the procedure and remains valid for one year, unless there are changes to your health history.
Because I secure and pay for your medical clearance in advance of your arrival, and dedicate specialized time to your consultation, I now require a booking deposit for all new clients. This policy applies to all new appointments, including referrals and same-day bookings.
Running a fully compliant medical practice involves significant clinical overhead. This includes my medical director oversight, state-mandated clearances, advanced laser technology, and my continuous specialized education. When an appointment is missed, I must personally absorb these hard medical costs, in addition to losing dedicated time that I could have used to treat another client.
