For these anterior zirconia crowns with **facial cutback and layering**, we used **Natural Die material** to accurately reproduce the patient’s underlying stump shades.

This becomes especially important when working with **darker or irregular stump shades**, as the underlying tooth structure can influence the final value, translucency, and overall appearance of the restoration. By recreating those stump shades on the laboratory model, we can better visualize how a lighter restoration will actually look once seated in the patient’s mouth—and make adjustments before delivery.
