Case Highlight!
We love this case on one of our amazing patients whose smile did not match her personality, beauty, and age.
Like many of our patients, she found herself in a cycle of fixing one tooth at a time. She had worn teeth, failing fillings, crowns in different colors, and a tooth that needed to be extracted. Not just one issue; rather, the system was breaking down - the result of years of fixing one problem at a time without looking at the whole. It's not even that the dentistry was bad, it was just placed into an instable system.
As a Kois-trained dentist, Dr. Simone looked at function, structure, biology, and esthetics for proper risk assessment and to properly sequence her case. In the end, we opened her bite, placed an implant, performed esthetic crown lengthening, and placed 12 crowns on her upper teeth. It was the result of careful planning and expert ex*****on of that plan with collaboration from Bay View Dental Laboratory - shout out to Jason, master ceramist! The result is stunning and makes her look 10 years younger!
