October is National Dental Hygiene Month! 🦈

Two minutes can feel like forever to a little one, so here’s our favorite trick: let your kiddo pick a 2-minute song and brush until it ends. Bonus points for dance moves.

A few more quick reminders:
🪥 Brush twice a day, morning and night
🪥 A rice-sized smear of fluoride toothpaste under age 3, pea-sized from age 3 on
🪥 Help with brushing until they can do it well on their own, usually around age 7 or 8

Does a crown on a baby tooth have to be silver? Not always! 🦈

It’s Child Passenger Safety Week, and tomorrow is National Seat Check Saturday! 🚗

Certified technicians will be doing free car seat checks all over the country tomorrow. It only takes a few minutes and they’ll show you how to fix anything that’s off. Search for a location near you at NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat.

What a great turnout at Upper Providence Township’s Community Day! 🦈

Big thanks to my two kids, Henry and Lucas, who helped me set up the table and keep everything organized all day, couldn’t have done it without them! Always fun getting out into the community and meeting new families.

Meet Samantha, our dental intern for the summer! Samantha is a Biology student at Widener University with her sights set on a career in dentistry, and we are so glad she chose to spend her summer with us gaining real hands-on experience.

She’s a Coatesville native, a Mulan fan, and — maybe the best fun fact we’ve ever put on one of these — she has an identical twin sister. We’ve met her. We still can’t tell them apart.

If you see Samantha at your next visit, say hi. She’s here to learn, and she’s already fitting right in.
