Dr. Thomas McCabe DMD is proud to continue the high standards of our predecessors - Dr. Sheets, Dr. Gregg, and Dr. Bette. Discúlpenme por mi pobre Español.

Our team excels in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental care for everyone in the family. Dr. McCabe was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He attended Newman University in Wichita, Kansas on a baseball and academic scholarship, earning a bachelor’s of science with honors and a master’s in business administration. Upon graduating from Newman University, he was selected to be part of the inaugural class of Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. While at Midwestern University, he was selected to be part of Omicron Kappa Upsilon a National Dental Honor Society. During dental school he pursued extra training in restorative dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. Dr. McCabe has taken numerous hours of continuing education in order to provide the latest advancements in dentistry to ensure that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. Dr. McCabe is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Associate, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. During his free time, Dr. McCabe donates his time to The Mission of Mercy Dental Clinics, providing free dental care to underserved patients. He has also volunteered as a high school baseball coach, enjoys working out, and has begun to learning Spanish. 🎃🦷 The Great Pumpkin Decorating Debate! 🦷🎃

Our oral surgeon challenged us to a pumpkin decorating contest, and naturally, we took this VERY seriously. 😂

First, we had to decide who was best qualified for the job…

🦷 Dr. McCabe — with his precision using the smallest dental instruments, surely he could carve a masterpiece!

🪥 Terri & Autumn, our assistants — their unmatched skills making handmade temporaries had us thinking they could sculpt just about anything!

✨ Gracie, Brittney & Connie, our hygienists — if anyone knows how to clean every surface of a tooth, surely they could polish a pumpkin to perfection!

After much deliberation (and probably more discussion than necessary 🤣), we decided the most qualified candidate was… our assistant Terri’s daughter! 🎨

And what did she create? Darla from Finding Nemo! 🐡🎃

And let’s just say… SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 🙌 She absolutely nailed it!

Turns out, sometimes the best talent in the office isn’t the one with the dental degree! 😂

Now the real question is… do we have a future pumpkin artist on our hands, or should we just stick to teeth? 🦷🎃

❤️ What a day! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our Newton Appreciation Day! We had such a great time celebrating our community with good food, happy kids, and plenty of water from the Newton Fire Department! 🚒💦

We’re incredibly grateful to the local businesses and organizations who helped make the day possible:

And we’re especially happy that the fun didn’t end when the event did. ❤️ The leftover food was donated to a local church to help feed their youth group!

🎉 50 YEARS! 🎉

Today we celebrated something truly special—Debbie’s retirement after an incredible 50 years with our practice! ❤️

Think about everything that has happened since Debbie started: the first Star Wars movie came out, the Space Shuttle made its first flight, cell phones went from science fiction to something we can’t live without, the internet changed the world, and we’ve watched countless other moments make history.

Through it all, Debbie was here—taking care of patients, building relationships, and helping make our practice what it is today. Five decades of dedication is an incredible legacy, and we are so grateful for every one of those years.

We celebrated her big milestone with a day at Beau Monde Spa followed by dinner at W**e Dive. 🥂🍷

Debbie, congratulations on an amazing 50 years! You’ve earned every minute of retirement, and while we’re going to miss you terribly, we’re so excited for this next chapter. ❤️

Morgan and Peyton had the fun job of opening a thoughtful gift basket from Dr. Tingey, a surgeon we’re lucky to work closely with. We’re so grateful for partnerships like this that help us provide the best care for our patients—and make work a little sweeter too.

After years of wearing dentures that had become worn and uncomfortable, one of our patients shared that he often felt self-conscious—especially around his grandkids.

He wanted to be able to smile, laugh, and be present with them without worrying about his teeth.

Together, we helped him move toward a more stable, natural-feeling solution so he can get back to enjoying those everyday moments with confidence again.

It’s never just about teeth—it’s about quality of life.

Last night we traded scrubs for seats in the audience to cheer on one of our own 💃✨

Our amazing team member Terri took the stage for her tap dance recital, and let’s just say…she crushed it 👏 We loved getting to support her outside the practice and celebrate the talent, dedication, and personality she brings both to our team and the stage.

Safe to say we’ve got some serious rhythm in the office now 🖤
