It was originally founded by Dr. A. Andrew “Andy” Robertson, who loyally served his patients with care and respect. He took thousands of hours of continuing education, enhancing his skills to provide a broad spectrum of dental services. assing in 2009, Dr. John Randall “Randy” Owen became the owner, and the practice took on its current name of Tidewater Family Dentistry. Dr. Robertson’s family was comfortable with Dr. Owen, recognizing that he would continue to run the practice with integrity and a commitment to excellence. Dr. Owen’s number one goal was to earn the trust of the existing staff and patients. He made some physical renovations to the office building and upgraded the technological capabilities of the practice. Patients, both existing and new, appreciate the welcoming and comfortable feel they encounter when visiting Tidewater Family Dentistry. Dr. Owen has worked hard to enhance the pediatric program of the practice and to develop good relationships with the area’s many dental specialists. He is proud to be a member of the Newport News community. The purpose of this practice is to provide outstanding dental treatment. We strive to create a comfortable, caring, and stress-free atmosphere in which our patients, staff, and doctor can derive maximum satisfaction from their daily experience. We are dedicated to the continuing education of our staff and doctor so that we may stay abreast of new practices and products.
