I am sorry to my patients and their families for the need to have rescheduled recent appointments. My father had symptoms of fatigue and weakness that started 8 weeks ago and he passed away this morning in hospice care from an aggressive and untreatable cancer. The shock from something so rapid is very difficult to deal with and my family is seeking the support of those around us. Thank your for your understanding. We will do everything possible to accommodate your needs and I apologize for any changes that have made things difficult for you. Please take care, Craig

Good Morning Everyone. I hope that everyone is doing as well as can be expected right now. This message is meant to provide an update to the guidelines provided by our health officials. The prior recommendation to limit all dental treatment to emergency care has been extended to May 20, 2020. You can view the Connecticut State Dental Association website here: https://www.csda.com/coronavirus and you can also view the list of services that the American Dental Association considers emergent here: https://www.ada.org/en/publications/ada-news/2020-archive/march/ada-develops-guidance-on-dental-emergency-nonemergency-care.

While I realize that some might view this time as a convenient time to have treatment performed, any elective care at this stage falls outside of what is considered safe practice. Please do your part to follow the recommendations of our governing bodies.

I will continue to open up on a limited basis to treat patients who are in pain and have issues requiring treatment that fall within the ADA Guidelines. Please contact my office at (860) 500-7995 or at [email protected] and we will help to triage your issue and help you get any necessary care.

Good Morning Everyone. We are all doing what feels right based upon the information in front of us and the desire to avoid contributing to a worst case scenario for the people around us. My office will be closed for any non-emergent patient care for the next two weeks. Patients with urgent needs will be able to receive care on a case-by-case basis. You can reach my office staff during business hours via telephone. After hours you can reach me by calling my office and pressing 9 at the prompt to forward the call to my cell phone. While I realize that some families wish to take advantage of this seemingly convenient time and have treatment performed, the aim of the work and school closures is to help us avoid contact with other people.
