Dear Patients,
I am posting an article from the ADA, we will be following their guideline as to rescheduling routine dental care/cleanings. Our office is closed next week per the Spring Break calendar for Warrick County School District. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and keep you updated. As of now, we will be in the office the week of March 30th for emergent procedures but not hygiene appointments.
Thank you for your consideration, may you and your families stay healthy.

The American Dental Association (ADA) recognizes the unprecedented and extraordinary circumstances dentists and all health care professionals face related to growing concern about COVID-19. The ADA is deeply concerned for the health and well-being of the public and the dental team.

In order for dentistry to do its part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the ADA recommends dentists nationwide postpone elective procedures for the next three weeks. Concentrating on emergency dental care will allow us to care for our emergency patients and alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place on hospital emergency departments.

As health care professionals, it is up to dentists to make well-informed decisions about their patients and practices. The ADA is committed to providing the latest information to the profession in a useful and timely manner.

The ADA is continually evaluating and will update its recommendation on an ongoing basis as new information becomes available.

Dear Patients,
our office will remain open with normal business hours to continue providing dental care. Please be advised that we are monitoring the situation (Coronavirus-COVID 19) and will keep you informed if anything changes with our office. We are continuing our use of the universal precautions and following all CDC and OSHA guidelines for sterilization and infection control. If you are healthy there is no need to reschedule. However, if you or a family member are experiencing contagious symptoms, please stay home and call to reschedule your appointment. If you have traveled outside of the United States within the past 2 week, please call to reschedule. The safety of our patients, families and team is of the utmost importance to us. Wishing you and your families good health! Be safe.

As we are returning from Spring break, I'd like to take the time to remind everyone that good oral health starts with our hygiene department. Preventative appointments are not "just cleanings"-they include a complete evaluation of the health of gum, teeth and bone, oral cancer screening, early detection of decay, disease and othe dental issues the enable the dentist to diagnose treatment. Hope we see soon, if you don't have a preventative appointment scheduled, I encourage you to do so sooner than later.
