A warm welcome to Dr. Katie Cook-Becerra as we welcome her to our practice. The daughter of Dr.
Gina Cook, Dr. Katie graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 2015. She went on to Haverford College in Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology degree and played four years of NCAA DIll Basketball. Dr. Katie then completed her dental school training at the prestigious Tufts University in Boston Massachusetts. She went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency from NYU Langone, where she has treated patients for the last year.
Fun fact: Dr Katie broke the record for most patients seen in her residency program!
Dr. Katie is very excited to be home again, joining the practice she grew up in to help provide the exemplary care our patients have come to know.

Exciting news! To improve our parking, accessibility & ultimately to offer more space for our growing practice, we are looking forward to an upcoming change in our location. You may see that our building is 'For Sale'. We are still here- and eyeing a move early summer 2026 to our new and improved location. All patients will continue to be seen in our New Windsor Office until notified.

Our Inaugural Patient(s) of the Month! Meet Alice & Joe Rockafellow, lifelong Newburgh residents that are celebrating their 72nd Anniversary this year! They are almost as dedicated to their dentist as they are to each other, never missing a cleaning! We’d like to celebrate our wonderful patients and recognize how valuable they are to each of us at Gina Prokosch-Cook, D.D.S., Family Dentistry.

The HPV vaccine is therapeutic for Oral-pharyngeal cancers as well as cervical cancer. Get your sons vaccinated as well!!

If you think women are the only people who get cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), think again. These cancers are on the rise in men.
