🚨An apical (periapical) granuloma isn’t “just an infection.”
It’s a chronic inflammatory lesion forming around the root of a tooth—often as a response to pulp necrosis and bacterial infection.
The dangerous part? It can develop silently, without obvious pain, while the infection continues beneath the surface.
🦷 No pain doesn’t always mean no problem.
Regular dental exams and X-rays can detect issues before they become more serious.
