I got my first shot of the Moderna Covid 19 vaccine this morning at the NYC Health Dept in Lower Manhattan along with my wife. No pain involved and now I have to wait one month for the second shot. May everyone go get vaccinated and it is free.

Dear Patient:
I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing remains the same: my commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for this practice and you may have seen this during your visits to this office. The infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable. I want to relate to you the infection control procedures that are performed in order to keep you safe.
My office follows all infection control recommendations made by the ADA, CDC and OSHA. I follow the activities of these agencies so that I am up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. This is done so that the infection control procedures are current and adhere to the recommendations of each agency.
There will be some changes when it is time for your next appointment. I will ask you a questionnaire about some habits relative to prevent covid -19 transmission.
I have hand sanitizer in the waiting room. Appointments will be arranged so that more time is available between patients. I will also try hard so that no one is kept waiting and there will be no one else present in the waiting room during your visit.
