April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month 👄

❓Did you know❓
Oral Cancer is the 6th most common cancer in the world.

During routine visits, we check more than just your teeth! Oral cancer screenings are a very important part of your checkup, where we check your mouth and tongue for any lesions, lumps, or sores.

If caught in the earlier stages, oral cancer has a much higher 5 year survival rate.

Look out for ulcers that don’t heal within 3 weeks!

🙋Who is at higher risk?
1. To***co users
2. Heavy alcohol users
3. HPV
4. Previous history of cancer.
