Head and Neck Cancers can be life altering and survivorship looks different for the many patients diagnosed. One factor that cannot be overlooked is Quality of life after recovery. My patient Jack overcame multiple H&N cancers however, after all the treatments of radiation and chemotherapy he endured, he felt discouraged by the condition his oral cavity and teeth were left in. We worked together to custom create a comprehensive treatment plan to restore his mouth back to health. Function, Form and aesthetics was our goal and we achieved it. What a pleasure to get to know Jack on his dental journey back to health. His outer smile and inner smile is hard to miss!! Thank you

68 year old female with Squamous Cell Cancer at base of tongue. Treated by mandibular access through mandibulotomy. Patient received radiation, chemo. Restored with forearm grafts.
We were able to restore her oral health by rehabilitating her maxillary arch to balance her face and bite.

My lovely patient came to us in March 2024. He had extensive dental crowns but couldn’t understand why his gums kept bleeding no matter how well he flossed and brushed. The crowns he had placed violated the “ biologic width” the supercrestal tissue attachment which is a crucial concept in restorative dentistry to maintain periodontal health.
We were able to eliminate all inflammation and restore health and cosmetics to give him this fabulous smile.

Early screening and detection for Oral Cancer can save lives. Risk factors are to***co, alcohol, genetic factors and HPV infections. We offer a thorough Head and Neck Cancer screening at every hygiene visit.
Often times ulcerations go unnoticed. They can be caused by trauma, canker sores, lichen planus or SCC.

I had the huge privilege of having the Dean of my dental school visit my office here in NYC. It’s not an every day occurrence and Dean Karimbux is not an every day Dean. He led the dental school through the COVID pandemic and through all his efforts strengthened the community that is Tufts. So proud to have graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. I was trained and mentored by the best. .
As my favorite poet wrote
