We’d like to welcome Dr. Kim to our team!

Dr. Andrew Kim is a New Jersey native who completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. He then pursued his dental education at NYU College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kim subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center with a second year focus on prosthodontics and full mouth rehabilitation. During his time there, he was awarded the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award for his significant contributions to education and service to the community.

Dr. Kim’s primary focus is to provide compassionate, patient-oriented care with an emphasis on patient comfort, education, and quality. He is excited to join West End Dental Associates and strives to not only meet, but to exceed your expectations. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and golfing.

Welcome Dr. Matour!

Dr. Rebecca Matour received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Tulane University. She then pursued her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine, receiving honors in community oral health. Dr. Matour completed a general practice residency at the Manhattan VA Hospital, providing comprehensive dentistry to veterans. She then furthered her training as a chief resident at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she gained experience treating advanced multidisciplinary cases.

She feels passionately about dentistry and is dedicated to delivering high-quality care. She is committed to giving patients a comfortable experience where they feel encouraged to address concerns in order to improve their oral health. Dr. Matour is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Second District Dental Society. She is originally from the Philadelphia area and currently lives with her fiancé in Long Island City. In her free time, she can be found reading, running, traveling or spending time exploring the city. She is very excited to be joining the team at West End Dental Associates!

Have your teeth been bothering you more than usual? We are open 5 days a week for appointments!

When I reopened my dental practice in early June, the tooth fractures started coming in: at least one a day, every single day that I’ve been in the office.

Great news! As of Monday, June 1 West End Dental is open for routine dental care, 5 days a week. We have been open for the previous month for emergency only treatment. The Department of Health has given the green light. Please understand that we have instituted all necessary safety precautions. We will be sending out a detailed email with specifics. We are quickly booking appointments, so please call our receptionists at 212-595-1100 to schedule your appointment.

The health and safety of our patients and extended staff are of the utmost importance to us at West End Dental. We want to reassure all of our patients that we are here for you.

Thus, starting today, March 23, we will be providing virtual emergency consults using video chat with our patients via Skype/Facetime. Please do not hesitate to seek information or advice about any of your dental concerns. This consult will be with one of our general dentists. The hours that we will providing this service will be 10am-2pm. Call the office at 212-595-1100 to arrange your video consult.

Here at West End Dental Associates, the health and well being of our patients, staff and community has been our focus for over 40 years. Today, as recommended by the American Dental Association and NY State Dental Association, we have closed our office for two weeks. We encourage you to stay home and keep yourselves and those around you safe. In the event of an emergency, please call 212-595-1100 to speak to the on-call doctor.

We will be re-evaluating the situation and hope to be up back up and running as soon as possible. We are taking every precaution we can to insure our patients and staffs safety. As always, we will continue to adhere to our sterilization and disinfection protocol which kills this virus in our treatment rooms.
