A skilled clinician sees a great deal just by looking. But enamel is opaque, roots sit inside bone, and early decay between teeth is invisible to the eye. Looking alone was never enough.
Digital radiographs show decay between teeth and bone levels around roots at a fraction of the radiation of older film. A 3D cone beam scan gives us bone, sinuses, and nerve pathways in three dimensions — for implant planning, that's the difference between estimating and knowing.
And intraoral scanning means no impression trays, plus something patients tell us they appreciate: you can see exactly what we're seeing, on screen, while you're in the chair.
