Daisy was fit with her very first prosthesis and was more than happy to say “adios” to her wheelchair! 👋♿➡️🦿

She is truly impressive. It’s very rare for someone to be fit with their first-ever prosthesis and walk this well on day one. Her determination, confidence, and hard work were on full display from the moment she stood up.

Congratulations, Daisy! 🎉 We’re honored to be part of your journey and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish as you continue to gain strength and independence.

Our guy Ray is rocking his new below-knee prosthesis featuring a custom Grateful Dead design! ⚡️💀🌹

It was only fitting that our Lab Manager, Demetrio, presented Ray with his new prosthesis since he was the one who expertly laminated and brought this unique design to life.

Most importantly, Ray was extremely comfortable in his new prosthesis from the very first fitting. Even better, he loves our new Melville, Long Island location!

Ray’s prosthesis is equipped with the Rush Rogue 2 from ** PROTEOR⁠**, providing a lightweight and responsive solution to help keep him moving comfortably and confidently.

This past weekend, and the hosted the Full Circle Movement walking/ running clinic on Long Island — and it was an unbelievably successful event.

From the staff at Ottobock, the volunteers from many local prosthetic companies, and of course the participants themselves, the energy and support throughout the weekend was incredible. Some participants were even able to run for the very first time since their amputations — a truly inspiring experience for everyone involved.

Prosthetics In Motion was proud to take part in such a great event, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Chip is an avid fisherman 🎣 and a big fan of . His prosthesis setup features the with a torsion pylon and the Pro-Flex XC, giving him the mobility and stability to stay active on the water. The striped bass are running off Long Island, and Chip is ready to reel them in 🦾🦾🎣🐠
