🦷What Your Dentist Sees That You Don’t

A dental exam is not just about cavities.

We look for patterns—subtle changes that often go unnoticed:

• Early signs of grinding
• Hairline cracks in teeth
• Gum changes that indicate inflammation
• Bite alignment shifts

These are not always visible—or felt—early on.

But catching them early makes all the difference.

What you don’t feel today can become what you wish you had addressed sooner.

🦷Veneers vs. Whitening: What Actually Changes Your Smile

Both whitening and veneers enhance your smile—but they do very different things.

☆Whitening improves color.
☆Veneers transform shape, symmetry, and proportion—in addition to color.

The question is not which one is “better.”
It’s which one aligns with the result you want.

A natural-looking smile is never accidental.
It’s designed with intention.

🦷Whitening Toothpaste vs. Professional Whitening

Whitening toothpaste can help remove surface stains.

But it does not change the underlying color of your teeth.

Professional whitening, on the other hand, works beneath the surface—lifting deeper discoloration safely and effectively.

If you’ve been using whitening toothpaste for months and seeing little change, you’re not doing anything wrong.
You’re simply using the wrong tool for the result you want.

Bleeding Gums Are Not “Normal”

If your gums bleed when you brush or floss, it’s easy to dismiss it.

Many people do.

But bleeding is not something to ignore—it’s often one of the earliest signs of gum inflammation.

The earlier it’s addressed, the simpler the solution.

The longer it’s left untreated, the more complex it can become.

Your body is giving you feedback.
The question is—are you listening?

Did you know?
Brushing harder does not clean your teeth better.

In fact, overbrushing can wear down enamel and irritate your gums—two things that are very difficult to reverse.

What matters is not pressure, but technique and consistency.

A soft-bristle toothbrush, gentle circular motions, and the right amount of time will do far more for your oral health than force ever will.

Precision always wins over intensity.

【Update on the crane accident on W57th street】
Our building at 57 West 57th Street is open.
The 6th avenue door is open, but the 57th street door is closed.

The NQRW station at 57th Street & 7th Ave, as well as the F station at 57th Street & 6th Ave is completely open, but you can only use the stairwells at the southern half of the station.

If you are coming from the NQRW station, you will have to walk from 57th & 7th to 56th st, then walk east on 56th St to the walkway in the middle of 6th ave and 5th ave.

Hopefully, streets will open up more by this afternoon.
