❤️Wally’s last day of school ❤️!
It has no doubt been a strange/bizarre/hard/ and incredible school year. Here’s to all the mamas and dadas and grown ups and teachers who worked extra hard this year to make school the best possible for their kiddos! I think we can all say we are looking forward to summer ☀️!!

Another case of those pesky white spots 😳!
Luckily, there are some really great conservative treatment options (such as this one with Icon) that require no anesthesia or tooth structure removal!
In this case, we were able to minimize the discoloration and bring out the natural beauty of the teeth. A win for everyone - Woohoo! 🎉

This little lady has sprouted teeth! Super early (at 4 months) just like her big brother. Good thing her mama is a pediatric dentist 🤓!
When do babies typically get their first tooth?
6-8 months is the average age for those bottom front two teeth to pop through, although some babes are early (3-4 months), and some are late (just getting their first tooth at 12 months!). The timing isn’t really too significant either way. The main thing to remember is - once that little tooth pops through, it’s time to start brushing!

Even though we are all wearing masks 😷... we still want our pearly whites to shine!
In this case, the black marks you see on this kiddo’s teeth are not cavities or plaque... but instead, they are stains caused by a specific type of bacteria in this child’s mouth. While the stains are esthetically not the most pleasing, they luckily are not damaging to the teeth and can be removed by a thorough teeth cleaning 🧼 at our office!
If your child is prone to stains like this, give our office a call ☎️ and see how we can help!

It’s 2021... so it’s safe to say... we are all hyper aware of GERMS 🦠!
But have you ever wondered... Are cavities contagious? 🤔
Maybe you’ve thought about it before or maybe you haven’t!
⚡️ But the answer is YES!
The bacteria that causes cavities 🦷 is contagious and can be spread through saliva!
Therefore, our goal is for all family members to keep their teeth and oral hygiene in tip top shape ✅ so that this type of bacteria isn’t passed between you and your little ones!
