This patient came to us with concerns about the implant on her lateral incisor, which had left uneven spaces and disrupted the balance of her smile. Without early orthodontic intervention, these issues can often become more noticeable in adulthood. One lateral incisor space was too large, while the other was too narrow, creating asymmetry and throwing off the proportions of her teeth. Simply widening the implant crown to close the gaps would have led to an awkward look, like having three central incisors.

This case required careful planning to slightly shift the midline and adjust each tooth’s size, making the lateral space smaller and the smile more balanced. The patient had always dreamed of a brighter smile but was worried it wouldn’t look natural. With a combination of upper veneers, a custom implant crown, and lower teeth whitening, we were able to achieve the radiant, symmetrical smile she always wanted—an enhanced, yet natural version of her own smile. Now, her teeth are proportionate, the gaps are closed, and her smile is both harmonious and brighter!

This patient came to our office after recently having veneers placed elsewhere and was devastated with the result. The veneers felt bulky, oversized for her face, too opaque and bright and lacked the natural proportions she had hoped for. Instead of enhancing her smile, they became the first thing people noticed, leaving her embarrassed to smile.

Our goal was to create a smile that truly fit her face and facial features—not one that overpowered them. Ten upper porcelain veneers were carefully designed to soften the overall appearance, improve the proportions, and create harmony with her natural smile and facial aesthetics.
