Fatherhood has taught me that kids rarely do what we tell them to do. They do what they see us do.

That’s why I try to bring my son along whenever I can, whether it’s at the office, a team meeting, or just everyday life. Not because he understands everything, but because he’s always watching.

The older I get, the more I realize that being a dad isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up, setting an example, and doing your best every day.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. The little things you do matter more than you know.

One of the most important things I can teach my little boy isn’t orthodontics, business, or leadership. It’s responsibility.

Today, he sat in on our team monthly meeting. He may not understand every detail, but that’s not the point. He’s learning how adults communicate, solve problems, listen to different perspectives, and take ownership of their roles.

Kids rise to the expectations we set for them. When we give them opportunities to participate in meaningful conversations, they start to see themselves as contributors rather than spectators.

The goal isn’t to raise a child who knows all the answers. It’s to raise a future adult who understands accountability, respect, teamwork, and the value of showing up prepared.
