Does your child sleep with their mouth open at night? 😴👄
A lot of parents think it’s just a cute sleeping habit — but chronic mouth breathing can sometimes affect more than sleep. Over time, it may influence jaw development, the way teeth come in, and even overall sleep quality. 🦷
Kids who breathe through their mouth at night may also snore, wake up tired, have dry lips, or sleep restlessly.
This doesn’t mean something is necessarily wrong — but it is something worth paying attention to early. As children grow, healthy breathing habits can play an important role in proper facial and dental development. 💡
If you’ve noticed your child sleeping with an open mouth often, mention it during their next dental check-up. Early observation can make a big difference later on. 💛
