This year, Dr. Beth Herko took her commitment to giving back a little farther from home.

Instead of the usual day of free dentistry, Dr. Beth had the incredible opportunity to spend an entire week providing dental care in Fiji. 🇫🇯

Throughout the week, she cared for many patients suffering from dental infections and removed close to 80 infected teeth. Some of the moments that impacted her the most were treating such young patients - two of them were only 3 years old.

Experiences like this are a powerful reminder of how important access to dental care truly is, and how much of a difference compassionate care can make in someone’s life 🦷🪥🩵

But the trip was about so much more than dentistry. The Fijian people welcomed Dr. Beth and her team with incredible warmth and generosity. They were wonderful hosts, sharing not only their culture but also the beauty of their country, including hikes through some of Fiji’s incredible landscapes.

Dr. Beth returned home with a heart full of gratitude for every patient who trusted her with their care, for the people she met along the way, and for the opportunity to use dentistry to serve a community far from home.

We are incredibly proud to have Dr. Herko leading our team and representing the values we believe in: compassion, service, and care that goes beyond the dental chair.

An unforgettable week of service, connection, and meaningful memories.
