A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Summer Snowball Social at Petite Krewe!

Even though the rain made an appearance, it didn’t stop us from having the best time! We loved getting to spend time with our amazing patients and their families outside of the office, sharing smiles, sweet treats, and making fun summer memories.

Pacifiers are a normal part of infancy and can be a great source of comfort and soothing for babies. The concern isn’t usually whether a child uses a pacifier, it’s how long and how often it’s used.

Duration matters more than occasional use. A child who relies on a pacifier throughout the day and night has a very different level of exposure than a child who uses it only for limited comfort. According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), pacifier use should ideally be discontinued by age 3, as prolonged use can begin to affect the way teeth and jaws develop.
