Building update: As some of you know our building was without a working elevator these past two weeks. Today one of them was fixed and tested (then I rode it as well). The guy from Otis will work on the other elevator next week; he even left his weights there to hopefully test the 2nd elevator.

We really appreciate everyone being flexible with rescheduling, as well as those who got their steps in by climbing the stairs to see us! We are really sorry about the inconvenience.

After lunch at GW Fins we managed to solve an escape room that was designed for 12 people, with 5 minutes to spare! We’re all about that teamwork! 😁

We will finally reopen Tuesday!
Our building recently got full power, so we will test all our systems tomorrow and Dana will start calling to schedule appointments.

UPDATE (9/8/21): At this point there is only enough power to the building to run lights but nothing else (elevators, A/C, etc). I’m optimistic that the rest will be functioning by Monday so we can continue with our tentative plans, but we’ll keep you updated.

Good morning! We finally have a tentative plan for reopening, hopefully Tuesday next week (Sept 14).

Our building apparently had some minor damage in the lobby, but the power has been restored. Building management is allowing tenants back in the building tomorrow to assess the condition of our offices.

Dana and I will be there Monday working with our computer guys to bring up the various systems and make sure they’re functioning properly. Assuming that goes well Dana will start making calls and I’ll start seeing patients the following day.

Our hygienists Thuy and Vi will probably start back next week as well, depending on when their kids start back with school and daycare.

Unfortunately we New Orleanians have had many challenges over the years, but once again we’ll get through this.

I hope this finds everyone safe and sound. That, of course, is the most important thing.

Obviously we’ll be closed as long as the power is out. I’ve heard it could be “weeks or months”, but we’ll likely have a much better idea in the next few days. I’m not even sure when we’ll be allowed back in the building to secure things and empty fridges.

I’ll post updates here and we’ll reach out as soon as we can. And, of course, there’s no need to call about appointments while the power is out.

Everyone stay well, and we’ll see you as soon as we’re able. We’ll miss you!

We’ll hopefully be back open in a couple of days, depending on the effects of Hurricane Ida. The most important thing is for everyone to stay safe. We’ll see you on the other side. 🙏🏼❤️

Because of the incoming messy weather with Marco we will be closed tomorrow, Monday August 24. Dana will be calling everyone on the schedule. Thanks for your understanding.
