Dr. David Smith is a native of North Platte, Nebraska, and graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1992. He and his wife Veronica, also a Creighton Dental Alum, founded The Family Smile Center in Fairbury, Nebraska, where they maintained a private practice until moving to Wisconsin in 2006. In addition to private practice, Dr. David served the states of Nebraska and Wisconsin as

a dentist for the Department of Corrections from 1998 to 2013. In 2013, Dr. Smith assumed the practice of Dr. Gregory Ludden in Appleton and formed Apple Town Dental Care. Dr. Smith has enjoyed getting to know the multiple patients and families that he has cared for over the years. He has a broad range of dental experience from preventive, esthetic, and restorative care to oral surgery including implant placement and restoration. Dr. Smith has lived with his family northwest of Oshkosh since moving to Wisconsin. The Smiths have four children, Sam, Ben, Nick, and Daniel. In addition to raising their own children, the Smith family has been hosting exchange students from various parts of the world since 2000. Dr. David appreciates the natural beauty that Wisconsin has to offer. He enjoys hiking, bicycling, gardening, and traveling. Dr. David has also participated in several Medical/Dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic through the Diocese of Green Bay and St. Raphael’s Catholic Parish in Oshkosh, where the Smiths are members.
