Since we’ve opened, it’s always been important to me to be involved in our community. Today, I was honored to help sponsor an event that is near and dear to my heart. My son, Ollie, and I had a blast learning from Mestre Leao Teixeira out of Brazil and Black Belt Jackson Fortunato out of Houston at an amazing seminar at Gracie jiu jitsu Youngsville.

For me, Jiu Jitsu has been a microcosm of life… interesting, challenging, intimidating, rewarding, humbling, and fun… some ups and some downs but always worth it. I feel strongly that competition, whether physical, mental, or both builds character… I get so hyped to see many patients and other youngsters around the community building that character brick by brick and day by day. Thanks to my friend and Coach, Cortney Meyers and Gracie Jiu Jitsu Youngsville for letting us be a small part of this weekend!! Oss (respect)!!!!

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY!! Jourden came to us to close her spacing and to correct her openbite (when back teeth are touching and front teeth aren’t). Not only is this a great cosmetic enhancement but it also makes it easier to bite into foods with your front teeth. We just love Jourden’s beautiful results!!!
