Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kayla Buchanczenko to the Lavender Dental New Hudson team!

Dr. B began her career earning her Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Michigan, and after eight years as a registered dental hygienist, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist — earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from A.T. Still University–Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health.

Her passion for dentistry started young. As a child who struggled with dental anxiety, Dr. B watched her younger sister face extensive dental treatment with compassionate care — and it changed the course of her life. That experience inspired her to face her own fears and build a career around helping others feel safe, heard, and comfortable in the dental chair.

Throughout school, Dr. B took on leadership roles across several professional organizations and gave back through Give Kids A Smile, Missions of Mercy, HOPE Dental Clinic, fluoride varnish outreach, Autism Awareness events, and more.

Outside the office, you'll find her golfing, playing tennis, working out, reading, or spending time with her significant other, family, and community.

We're so excited for our patients to meet her and experience her genuine, patient-first approach to care. Welcome to the team, Dr. B!

On Thursday, July 30, from 1:00–4:00 PM, we're welcoming children ages 12 and under for an afternoon of fun in a friendly, stress-free environment. Kids can enjoy activities, prizes, and a positive dental experience designed to help them feel comfortable and confident.

Call today to schedule your child's appointment, or stop by as a walk-in. Walk-ins are welcome as availability allows, but appointments are limited and will be filled first.
