To all my Facebook friends and family this is a letter my office team is giving out to our patients. It is an appeal to donate to two organizations who have been on the ground providing relief to our fellow citizens who live in the areas hit by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Please take the time to read it and consider donating to one or both of these organizations and see my offer. If you want to see some of what they are doing. Go to YouTube and check videos MDS Responds to Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and an earlier video of work they did this last January MDS Iron Station North Carolina Bridge Build. The hurricane video has a brief interview of one of my patients James Reiff who lives on a farm near my office. He is sitting behind the van driver. He was in last week after he returned and was sharing about the area his group was working in. Please consider a donation however much, and continue to pray daily for our fellow citizens who are hurting and facing the coming holiday season. Bob Berstecher

No shave November is over and my beard is gone. To help raise awareness of prostate cancer and funds for research by Penn State Medical School my razor spent the entire month in my medicine cabinet unused like the broom in the old swiffer commercial. Thank you to all those patients who purchased Oral B electric brushes at my office or made outright donations. I sent a $750.00 dollar check to the Penn State Health Development Office for prostate cancer research. Thank you all again! Check me out this coming November when I participate again and hope to beat my 2023 total!

Today is the midway point of “No Shave November. It is an event started several years ago to raise awareness and funds for colon cancer research Sunce then it has morphed here in Pa to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research by Penn State Health ( Hershey Med). I was diagnosed with prostate cancer September 2015 and had Cyber knife radiation therapy putting it into remission . I decided to participate this year and this is my current result so far. Any one wishing to contribute can write a check to Penn State health with prostate research funds in the memo line . Mail it to my office at 104 E Msin St New Holland Pa 17557 and I will send it on December 1st after I shave this itchy scratchy beard off. Men over 45 should have their PSA checked every year it is simple and easy. That was how my prostate cancer was found. You won’t regret it and it may save your life

It is now official after documenting 80 cases, sitting through 150 hours of continuing education in dental implant related topics, and presenting two implant cases to the membership at separate national meetings of the ICOI. I received my Master of Implant Prosthodontics certificate at this years national meeting in Phoenix

My team and i spent last Friday and Saturday in Jenkins Kentucky at the Smile Team Dental Clinic treating some of the people of Appalachia. This was our third year and we are already looking forward to returning next year. Check out our pictures, the dates are wrong, I need to change it on my camera.
