IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Effective July 1, 2022 the patients of New Design Dental Associates will serviced by Garden Spot Dental Care in New Holland. We are ceasing operation in New Holland. Dr. Amor thanks you all for your patronage over the years and is looking forward to semi retirement in Western PA.

I am back to wearing the "spaceman" outfit. Numbers of hospitalizations and infections have soared in Lancaster County to levels close to the worst of the pandemic if not already surpassing it. Had a patient come in with a KNOWN exposure to Covid (her husband was sick for a week) and did not answer our questionaire about COVID truthfullly. A few days later we received an answering machine message that she was positive for COVID. We have tested negative thank goodness. But it is a scary thing especially with how hard it is to find testing kits. So back to wearing the spaceman mask. I have a 95 year old mother who uses oxygen that I go home to at night. I do not want to infect her with COVID because of someone's selfishness. The desire to have a bridge finished so you can go on a cruise is not more important than other people's health. Don't be such a self centered as***le. I am still livid about it and when the work is finished the patient will probably need to find a new dental home.

Our phone system provider, along with many other phone system providers nationwide, are under a cyber attack which has rendered our phone unusable at the present time. We are unsure when this problem will be resolved but expect it to resolve in the next 24 hrs.

All of us at New Design Dental now have had our second Covid Vaccine. We hope that our patients are getting theirs soon also. We have been back to normal hours for a few months now and will be adding some additional hygiene hours to help with some of the backlog of patients whom we had to cancel during the Shutdown. In addition we have just now become a participating provider for UNUM insurance which is used by Earl R Martin employees. Welcome.

Tuesday 7:30-7:00 and/or Wednesday 7:30-7:00

Candidates should have:

- PA Valid Dental Hygienist License
- CPR Certification

Our office is an established office in Lancaster County, easily accessed from Rt.23. We are a slow paced and laid back office. Good for a new hygienist starting out. We are expanding our patient base after Covid shutdown and catching up on a backlog of patients.

We have begun to see Emergency and Non Emergency patients for broken teeth and lost fillings. Our hours remain limited and varied during this time as we adjust to the new reality of dental treatment during the time of COVID 19. We have secured a limited supply of PPE and have made some modifications to how we operate going forward. We expect to begin adding hygiene appointments to our schedule in July. In the interim we will be monitoring developments and following guidance from the CDC and OSHA.
