I used to say my daughter was a great sleeper.
No wake-ups.
No struggles.
No concerns.
But there were small things I couldn’t ignore.
Dark circles that didn’t quite match her energy.
Occasional nosebleeds at night.
A mouth that stayed open more than I expected.
Nothing alarming.
Nothing that would ever flag in a typical checkup.
And yet… something didn’t feel aligned.
We often think:
“If they’re sleeping, they’re fine.”
But sleep isn’t just about being asleep.
It’s about what the body is doing while they’re there.
Breathing.
Developing.
Growing.
Some kids don’t outgrow things.
They adapt to them.
And sometimes… they adapt really well.
This is why we don’t wait for something to be “wrong.”
We look earlier.
We look deeper.
We look at the patterns.
Because growth is happening whether we guide it or not.
Breathe easy. Grow healthy.
