On November 1st, SNAP benefits (food stamps), will be suspended. This will affect over 40 million people across the US, or 12% of the population. In SW Michigan, over 20,000 people will be impacted. This includes the unhoused, the elderly, and families with children.

The average benefit per household per month is $335. Losing this money creates tough decisions on which bills to pay—rent, electric, gas, etc. A report today on NPR called the need “insurmountable”.

At Neighbor by Neighbor, we are working to ensure we can meet the need. Our food pantry is stocked now and we are committed to ensuring we can meet the need going forward. You can help!

Our Most Needed Items right now are: Canned Pastas, Hearty Soups, Body Wash, and Toilet Paper.

Thank you lincoln_township_library for hosting me tonight for the Breathe Better airway health information session. It is my pleasure to let people know how they can improve facial structures to improve function and overcome sleep disordered breathing at the root cause (and without being sentenced to a CPAP or oral appliance for life!)

The yellow bone on Skully is the entire maxilla. It is important to realize that this bone comprises the entire midface, and part of it is both the roof of the mouth and floor of the nose.

Even adult patients can achieve biomimetic expansion with removable appliances! Check out this patient’s result!
