Most people don’t need to toss their toothbrush after being sick! Once you’ve fought off the virus or bacteria, you won’t reinfect yourself from your own brush.

BUT Replace it if:

🪥 you share a toothbrush holder

🪥 others around you got sick & you share a toothbrush holder

🪥 you’re immunocompromised

🪥 you had a cold sore

Otherwise, stick to the usual rule: refresh your brush every 3–4 months or when the bristles fray.
