When do you actually need a crown? Let's talk about it.

A crown might be right for you if you have: a tooth with a large filling or cavity, a cracked or broken tooth, a tooth that's been root canal treated (it needs protection), a tooth that's severely discolored and won't respond to whitening, or a tooth that's just too damaged to save with regular repair.

A crown protects the tooth and restores function and appearance. It's different from a filling because it covers the entire tooth, not just a small portion.

The process is straightforward. We remove the damaged part, shape the tooth, take precise measurements, and have a custom crown created. Most crowns last 15 to 20 years or longer with good care.
